Gifts of Stock

Making a gift of stock offers you the chance to help AP Ranch while realizing many important benefits for yourself. A stock portfolio is often among the most valuable assets you own, and one that carries a substantial capital gains tax. With careful planning, you can reduce or even avoid federal capital gains tax by gifting stock to AP Ranch. Because of our nonprofit status, AP Ranch does not pay a capital gains tax when we sell the gifted stock.
